What is the plan for National Youth Teams?

Postby CSA Guest » Wed Nov 19, 2008 10:47 am

At the OSA meeting, it was explained that one of the main reasons for the proposed fee increase was to invest in our National Youth Teams.

Wasn't that also the reason for the Blueprint for Success a few years back? What happened to that money? Why should we believe that you will be any more successful this time?

And what exactly is the plan for National Youth Teams? Looking at the Strategic Activities document, the plan for all the National Youth Teams is "to develop and implement a plan"! Is this a joke? Why don't you come back to us when you actually have a well thought out plan to present to us. Don't expect us to sign a blank cheque!

The plan is to invest in Youth National Teams so that each player will have the opportunity to reach the goal of playing in 50 International matches between the U-15 to U-20 National Team stages.
